Blog Post Jan. 13--Good Critic, Bad Critic
Good Critique
I really like your usuage of colors. It appelas to the eye and the font is very creative. I like the gradient theme you used. It looks very hippie like and I love the quotes that you used.
Bad Critique
Some of the quotes overlap with each other, and maybe each quote should be a different color to differentiate between two quotes/people. The quotes also seem to go outside the border of the page.

Blog Post Jan. 8--Why did you choose your original historic photo?
Why did you choose the historic photo for your final composite with your photograph?
I chose my historic photo because I wanted something from recent times that people would remember and as I was searching on the internet, Barack Obama's second inauguration was one of the most talked about moments all of the world in 2013.
What challenges did you have?
My hardest challenge was actually deciding on what topic I wanted my historic photo to be about. Another challenge was getting the lighting in my photo to match the lighting in the original photo from Obama's inauguration.
How successful was it?
I think that I did a pretty good job, but it still doesn't look completely realistic to me. However, that might just be because I edited the photo and another person might not notice if they didn't know what to look for.
What era of "vintage" do you feel drawn to?
1960's-1970's.

Blog Post Jan. 7--Online Copyright
You cannot use anything you don't make yourself.
I don't this statement is always true. I think that images, videos, and music found on the internet is free to use, unless the owner explicitly states that they don't want you using their material. For example, on Flickr when people post their images they have the option to not have their pictures be public and to not allow people to download the images to their computer. Another time when you can't use material found on the internet is for when it's for a contest or for profit because you did not create it yourself. However, in many cases the owner of the material may be fine with their work being used so long as they are given credit for what they created, similar to citing in an academic paper.

Blog Post Jan. 6--Capstone Topic & Innovation, Idea, or Innovation
The topic for my capstone project is binge eating. I was first going to do eating disorders in general, but then I decided that it was better to narrow it down to one specific type of eating disorder. Right now I don't know exactly what my solution (invention/innovation/idea) will be, but I'm hoping to create a website or app that will allow people who binge eat to find other alternatives for coping with their problems, track their food intake, offer healthy food options, and a journal or forum to talk with others who are going through a similar situation.
